About the event

The Ontario Long Term Care Association’s (OLTCA) This is Long Term Care conference seeks to highlight emerging research, quality improvement initiatives, innovations and expertise that can educate and inspire others in seniors’ care and provide practical strategies that improve quality of care and quality of life. Registration is now open.

On Monday, October 21st (10:30am), Debby Riepert, COO from Trinity Village, Rami Wehbe and Lee St James from GlobalDWS will be presenting in the Health Human Resources stream: "Deploying social robots and AI to Improve Quality of Life for Residents and Staff in LTC".

How can long-term care operators leverage service robots and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance residents' social and cognitive well-being while increasing staff and caregiver efficiency? Join us to explore the trailblazing efforts of Trinity Village Care Centre and GlobalDWS, who are deploying these innovative digital tools that are available 24x7 to support 150 residents, 300 staff members, students, volunteers, and family caregivers. This session will share examples of how technology can be leveraged in LTC to streamline repetitive tasks, foster social engagement and cognitive health, and provide additional benefits to staff, residents and care providers.

GlobalDWS will be exhibiting our service robots with our partners, Complete Purchasing Services - please stop by their booth for live demos and to ask about our Technology Adoption framework.
