GlobalDWS recently participated in "This is Long-Term Care" (TiLTC) as part of the Ontario Long-term Care Association's annual conference in Toronto. Together with our client, Trinity Village, we led a joint presentation on the first day titled: "Deploying Social Robots and AI to Improve the Quality of Life for Residents and Staff in LTC".
In the exhibit hall on the first evening, our VP Sales & Marketing, Lee St. James, was delighted to have the opportunity to speak with Minister of Long-Term Care Natalia Kusendova-Bashta, MPP. The Minister was curious to learn about our social and service robots that are being deployed in senior living homes to support staff and residents. Included in the conversation were: Debby Riepert, COO, and Maria Menounos, Program Manager, at Trinity Village (who shared their experiences adopting this innovative technology to support staff and residents) and Angelo Colalillo, VP Eastern Canada for Complete Purchasing Services Inc.*

Deploying Social Robots and AI: Presentation Highlights
How can long-term care operators leverage service robots and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance residents' social and cognitive well-being while increasing staff and caregiver efficiency? This breakout session shared the trailblazing efforts of Trinity Village Care Centre, a LTC home in Kitchener, ONT that is deploying these innovative digital tools that are available 24x7 to support 150 residents, 300 staff members, students, volunteers, and family caregivers. Together with this customer, we shared examples of how technology can be leveraged in LTC to streamline repetitive tasks, foster social engagement and cognitive health, and provide additional benefits to staff, residents and care providers.
Happy 10th Birthday TiLTC
Thank you so much to Ontario Long Term Care Association CEO, Donna Duncan for being such a great sport and singing Happy Birthday alongside Mindy on the main stage at the wrap-up event.
